Free to run. Paid where it earns its keep.
RackMon follows an open-core model: the full monitor is free, and a paid license unlocks the client-facing features. Here's exactly what each edition allows.
Community edition — free
- Free of charge, forever, including for commercial use inside your own organisation.
- Unlimited devices and metrics, rack heatmaps, live telemetry, alerting, discovery and SNMP v2c/v3.
- Self-hosted on your own infrastructure. Run as many Community instances as you like.
- Provided as-is, without warranty. You may not resell, sublicense or offer RackMon itself as a hosted service to third parties without a commercial agreement.
Pro license — paid, per instance
- Everything in Community, plus SSO (OIDC) & LDAP/AD, the public status page, SLA/availability PDF reports, and white-label branding.
- Licensed per running instance, billed annually at €390/instance/year — with unlimited devices. Larger fleets and multi-site deployments are covered by Enterprise.
- Your key is an Ed25519-signed token, verified offline inside your instance — no license server, no call-home. One key activates one instance.
- The key is issued to the purchasing email and is for your organisation's use; please don't share or publish it.
Enterprise — custom
Multi-site aggregation, HA/clustering, volume & MSP licensing and SLA-backed support are covered by a custom agreement. Talk to us.
Buying, delivery & refunds
- Checkout is handled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, who is the seller of record and applies any local taxes/VAT. Their checkout terms apply at purchase.
- Your license key is delivered by email from
no-reply@rackmon.appimmediately after payment. Didn't get it? Check spam, then email us. - Questions about a refund or your license? Email rackmon.software@gmail.com.
